LCJGA conducts the only competitions in the area open to under 12s and beginners. Juniors compete in age groups. A minimum of eight events to be played April through October. In 2012 we will also have two adult junior events and a two day 12 and under championship. LCJGA conducts the only tournaments in the area open to under 12s and beginners. Juniors from anywhere in the Sun Country area are welcome to play our events. Typical entry fee is $10 for 9 hole 12 and under events and $15 for 18 hole events for teens. Besides medals for individuals placing in  tournaments, juniors playing in at least four events will be eligible to win player of the year and most improved awards. Events will be held on Saturdays and Sundays. There is a $25 registration fee for the competition program.
